Kerygma magazine is
one of the catholic magazines being distributed in Catholic schools. When
I was in high school, I am an avid reader of this magazine, not that because
reading is one of my interests, but some of the subject/article published are
possible be our topic in Religion class. A short quiz should be expected.
·
I see God in every human being. When I wash the lepers' wounds I
feel I am nursing the Lord Himself. Is it not a beautiful experience?
·
My calling from Jesus is to serve Him among the poorest of the
poor.
·
Like Jesus we belong to the world living not for ourselves but
for others. The joy of the Lord is our strength.
·
There are so many religions and each one has its different ways
of following God.
·
Put yourself completely under the influence of Jesus, so that He
may think His thoughts with your mind, and do this work through your hands.
·
Any country that accepts abortion, is not teaching it's people
to love, but to use violence to get what they want.
·
Little things are indeed little, but to be faithful in little
things is a great thing.
·
There is only one God and He is God to all; therefore it is
important that everyone is seen as equal as before God.
·
Keep in joy of loving the poor and share this joy with all you
meet. Works of love are works of peace.
·
The poor give us much more than we give them. They're such
strong people, living day to day with no food. And they never curse, never
complain. We don't have to give them pity or sympathy. We have so much to learn
from them.
·
We are first all religious; we are not social workers, not
teachers, not nurses or doctors. We are religious sisters. We serve Jesus in
the poor.
·
We believe our work should be our example.
