RCBC – Credit Card Application Through Online

Aside from BDO, I’ve tried also RCBC. According to what I’ve heard with regards to this bank, you will never be approve if you don’t have an existing credit card with some other banks, may be for a reason that an existing credit card will be their basis if you have a good standing credit or a good creditor and a responsible consumer – that will be a chances of approval and for those necessary documents which are being required will be just for an SOP or formality. However, I just tried it though.

For online application, you can visit their official website. RCBC also offers different kind of cards; these are Classic Cards, Gold Cards, Diamond Card, Platinum MasterCard, Black Card Platinum, Master Card, Visa Infinite Card, World MasterCard, Corporate Card, Union Pay Card, Web Shopper, Landmark Anson’s MasterCard, Citrus, Sta. Lucia Mall and some of the others which are not mentioned here.

On their website if you’re applying online, the application form will be their already on the screen for you to fill-up. Again, first you will have to select on what kind of card you want to apply for (suits your needs). And then, you have to fill those boxes that required an information to be filled on - the basic information about you and your financial or employment status.

Upon applying RCBC credit card online, make sure that you have already prepared scanned documents to be uploaded upon application. Unlike BDO, the necessary documents will be send within that application. In Banco de Oro, upon receiving your online application by the one who assess that application, he/she will call you after several days to comply those asked documents by sending to that given email account of them. Here, if you don’t have those scanned documents, you just make such hard times filling those boxes after all it will be just resetted back to blank.

There are only two options for that uploading. First is for your identification and the other one is for the proof of your income. Just a suggestion, if you wanted to send all of your IDs and those other requirements, you can save this in one file with several data within. A file which has your proof of identification - paste all of the necessary IDs which include those government issued IDs. Then the second one is for the proof of income - paste your recent pay slip, COE, ITR and some other acceptable documents.

The documents I’ve sent to this application are the one which I’ve submitted to BDO. My application in this bank is just only for a trial. I haven’t figured it out if I have confirmed it or not. Unfortunately no call from them, may be in some other days or some other time if I will be urged to apply again, I will.
